As commissioned by woningbouwvereniging Beter Wonen, the AKOR team constructed 34 apartments for the social sector in the former Rietmavo building in Almelo. The apartments in Het Riethuys are suitable for 1- and 2-person households.
Former Rietmavo
It was in this historic building that thousands of Almelo’s residents completed their secondary education. The fact that the building has retained a good deal of its character is therefore valued and the building really sets the tone for Tuindorp De Riet.
